Kempsey Children’s Services is a unique Early Childhood and Care centre made up of 6 separate cottages with each cottage created to best meet the developmental levels of the children at each stage.
We provide early childhood education and care programs for children 0-6 years.
At KCS we provide a unique learning experience for young children in the early years. Our approach to Early Childhood Education and Care focuses on building important, trusting and respectful relationships which empowers individuals to develop the capacity to embark on a journey of lifelong learning.
In April 2023 KCS was rated overall as Working Towards the Australian Government National Quality Framework which ensures high quality and consistent early childhood education and care across Australia.
KCS is committed to achieving high quality results and we regularly evaluate our service to ensure a very high standard is maintained. We are consistently working on our Quality Improvement Plan which outlines our priorities when making improvements to the service; this is available for you to read on request.

Kempsey Children’s Services is a not for profit, community based service which is managed by a board of directors made up of parents of the service and community members. Our board meets once a month and works along side the Director to uphold all compliance and regulatory requirements as well as to ensure the financial viability of the service.
Being a not-for profit service any funds which are received above our running costs are channelled back into the service to ensure the best quality Early Education and Care is achieved.
Kempsey children services has a corona virus policy and risk management plan, we are following the directions of the NSW Department of Health and Early Childhood Directorate.
